Students in Religion 8 enjoyed a "Scripture Scavenger Hunt" on Friday. The challenge activated a hands-on exploration of the Bible and rich dialogue about themes and meaning behind the chosen scripture pieces.

Congratulations to Asher Breidenbach, Sam MacDonald, and Erica Parker for participating in the Northern Alberta Junior Honour Band this weekend. What a remarkable achievement! We are so proud of your commitment to musical excellence!

Lenten Project
Assumption School has kickstarted our Lenten project a little early this year. Students and staff are raising awareness about the local Stepping Stones' Building Better Futures campaign. Our goal is to raise between $1500 (single) - $2500 (double) to sponsor and furnish a shelter room in our name. This includes soft furnishing, decor, and amenities. The school will be hosting a variety of fundraisers until the end of the Lenten season, with all proceeds going to the shelter. Students have already raised $194.92 by purchasing heart shaped pop it keychains to help "Spread Love".

At LCSD, we are called to love and serve one another, and Pink Shirt Day is a beautiful reminder of this mission. Today, our schools came together to reflect Christ’s teachings through acts of kindness and care. When we lead with compassion, we create a community where everyone belongs.
