Alexis Normand’s Assez French Enough is a powerful bilingual presentation designed especially for parents and educators supporting children in French or French immersion programs. It is not a traditional lecture—it’s a multimedia presentation + conversation. Through music, film, and an engaging discussion, she explores the realities of raising and educating children in a second language—touching on confidence, identity, and the challenges of using French beyond the classroom. For parents, it offers reassurance and practical insight to better support their child’s language journey and sense of belonging. For educators, it provides a valuable perspective on linguistic insecurity and student identity, along with meaningful ways to foster confidence, inclusion, and engagement in French learning environments.
