Assumption Jr/Sr High School first opened its doors in 1978 as a grade K to 9 school. Since then, there have been numerous changes and updates. Most recently, AJSH went through a major renovation project that was complete in 2011. Becauase of these renovations, Assumption now boasts the following services and equipment on top of what we already were able to offer:

• A commercial kitchen which provides food services for students and staff

• An auditorium with retracting theatre style seating and state of the art lights and sound

• A gymnasium which provides ample seating for spectators and a fully equipped weight room

• A communication technology suite which allows students to enhance their skills with programming and audio/visual editing

• An industrial Arts lab which allows students to work in a variety of mediums including wood working, drafting, welding, silk screening, as well as other special interests

• French Immersion students have the opportunity to take the DELF exam and earn an international ranking for their skills
