🌸✨ Cosmetology students in grades 9-12 participated in a spring up-do hair competition we call "In Bloom!" ✨🌸 It's safe to say that the hairstyles were not just springing; they were leaping off the charts! 🎉🌼 We're thrilled to announce that our talented winners have snagged some serious prizes! Thank you to Kix Beauty and Barber for the generous prize donations. You can now see their incredible creations proudly displayed in the school. From twistin' and braidin' to pinning up a storm, you spun some serious magic with those locks Crusaders. 🪄✨

Students at AJSH gathered to reflect and pray on the mystery of Jesus' gift of himself to us. Senior High students did a beautiful job of depicting 14 key moments in Christ's journey to the cross, serving as a humble reminder that we are not alone in our suffering: Jesus suffers with us. He chose to embrace every aspect of human life, including suffering and death. "We adore you, O Christ, and we bless you, because by your holy cross you have redeemed the world".

Assumption students hit the slopes! Our Grade 7 and 8's each enjoyed a day of skiing and snowboarding at Kinosoo Ridge! It was a fun-filled end to the week.

Great turnout once again for our annual high school information night tonight. Families learned about the many pathways to a high school diploma as well as the exciting options and dual credit opportunities available to students at Assumption School. Missed this event? Tomorrow night! A reminder to all AJSH Grade 9 parents and any parents of students in the Cold Lake area interested in hearing more about high school programming at Assumption to attend our High School Information Night tomorrow starting at 6pm at the school. Students and their teachers were encouraged to "Take a Break!" on Friday as part of our ongoing commitment to our student-led Mental Health Matters Campaign.
