Students and staff at AJSH would like to thank Clarence Whitestone for presenting to our Grade 10 students on Treaty. Clarence talked about the days before, during and after Treaty. He also shared his own personal history and spoke about trauma from time spent in residential schools. Clarence concluded the presentation with a strong message to the students about the power of forgiveness.

Students from Assumption school went on a "Religions of the World" tour yesterday in Edmonton. They visited Al Rashid Mosque, Sacred Heart Church and Chin Yin Buddhist Temple, where dynamic faith leaders shared the rich history of each of their faith communities while drawing on similarities to our Catholic teachings.
