
Grade 11 and 12 religion classes, from AJSH, took part in the No Stone Left Alone ceremony where students paid tribute to the deceased war veterans buried in our Cold Lake cemeteries. In the days leading up to the ceremony, many students took time to paint beautiful stones which were left on the headstones of the war veterans after a short celebration.






Students in 10 Prep were heavily engaged in a competitive game of Math Grudge before their quiz today! Students shared that this course has been incredibly helpful in building both their skills and confidence in Math. Keep up the GREAT work!






Action for Healthy Communities (AHC) supports people new to Canada with adjusting to Canadian expectations, learning about programs and services, and accessing local resources. We would like to thank Paola and Oksana for supporting our newcomer students and families, at AJSH, as they adjust to life in Canada. We appreciate you!

Remember no School Friday for students


Students and staff at AJSH would like to thank Clarence Whitestone for presenting to our Grade 10 students on Treaty. Clarence talked about the days before, during and after Treaty. He also shared his own personal history and spoke about trauma from time spent in residential schools. Clarence concluded the presentation with a strong message to the students about the power of forgiveness.







On Saturday, October 26, parishioners of St. Louis Parish gathered at mass to celebrate Fr. Rene's 43rd anniversary of Ordination. God Bless you Fr. Rene and thank you for your many years of service. Thank you for praying over us, praying with us and praying for us.




During Catholic Education Week, students at AJSH were learning all about Catholic symbols. Through this beautiful art piece, created by students and stitched together by Mrs. Parker, students depicted our united school community, a community of faith, serving God and each other.
