Day care and out-of-school care will remain open only for families already registered. All other families must make alternate childcare arrangements.
We recognize the strain this places on families and thank you for your patience, understanding, and prayers. In this time of uncertainty, we hold fast to our faith and trust that God will continue to guide and strengthen our school communities. We pray for a fair and close resolution.

🍎 Happy World Teachers’ Day
Today, we celebrate the hearts and hands that shape minds, spark curiosity, and inspire students to grow in knowledge and faith.
Especially at this time, we recognize the immense value they hold in the lives of children, families, and communities. We keep teachers in our thoughts and prayers, grateful for the difference they make each day.
"Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old, they will not turn from it."

Yesterday marked the end of a beautiful junior high cross country season, and we couldn't be prouder of our Crusaders!
Under sunny skies, our athletes gave it their all — with many achieving personal bests and top finishes.
A huge thank you to the LSAA for organizing yet another incredible event and providing such a memorable experience for all Lakeland runners.
Way to go, Crusaders! 💙🩶 #CrusaderPride

Tammy, Cora, and Napoleon, THANK YOU for all you do to keep our school looking beautiful! We are so blessed to have you as part of our Assumption family.

This program gives students hands-on field experience in biology and chemistry following an in-class lesson on the same.
Scientific protocols are followed to conduct water quality tests and to collect benthic macro-invertebrates. Students then got the chance to analyze the health of the stream based on their findings.
THANK YOU LICA for leading this excellent experience for our students!

October: The Month of the Most Holy Rosary
During October, the Catholic Church invites us to pray the Holy Rosary. This beautiful devotion draws us closer to Christ through the intercession of His Blessed Mother, guiding us in grace.

As October begins, our focus turns to The Common Good. This teaching calls us to look beyond ourselves and work together so that every person has the chance to thrive.

Our students had an amazing time riding and representing our school, and we want to give a big thank you to the LSAA for putting together such a well-run and exciting event!

St. Paul - Tuesday, October 21
Cold Lake - Wednesday, October 22
Lac La Biche - Thursday, October 23
The events will take place each night from 6:00-8:00 PM.
Portage College will be waiving application fees for any students who submit an application at the Open House.
Lac La Biche campus will be arranging campus tours throughout the evening and will also have access to our program lab spaces as well, for students with an interest in a particular program area who may want to see what that classroom space looks like.
Meals are provided at each event.

All students and staff are safe, and our emergency protocols were followed with care and professionalism. We are especially thankful to the RCMP for their diligent response, ongoing support, and clear guidance as we worked together to keep everyone safe. We continue to work in collaboration with them.
We are grateful for the compassion shown across our school communities.
